Helen Mary Wilcox Luthy, 86, former Ricks College employee, died May 5, 1995 at her home.

She was born Sept. 16, 1908, at Fairwiew to David Oswell and Francis Melissa McCullough Wilcox. When she was young, her family moved to Sunnydell where she attended schools. She also attended schools in Archer and Ricks Academy.

On May 7, 1930, she married Henry Lewis Luthy in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They lived at Herbert and Archer. He died April 26,1966.

She had worked in the school lunch program at the Archer school and had been employed at Ricks College for eight years.

As a member of the LDS Church, she served in the Relief Society, Primary and Young Women's presidencies. She had been active in PTA and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Cooking, rock hunting, and lapidary, tending her flower garden and community service were among the things she enjoyed.

Five brothers, three sisters, and a grandchild preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at ll a.m. at the Archer LDS Chapel with Bishop Delas Munns officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Tuesday at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery at Archer.
