Anna was my step-grandmother. We always called her "Aunt Annie". I was young when she died, but I remember going next door to their house and sitting in her living room with her and her teaching me a Danish Song. I still remember the words to it after all these years. THANKS FOR THE MEMORY AUNT ANNIE. REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE.

Anna was the daughter of Anders Peter Miller and Anna Sophie Olsen.

She married Joseph Michael Smith on Sept. 20, 1922.

Funeral services for Mrs Anna Petrina Miller Larsen Smith,
78 will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Draper Second Ward Chapel. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 12900 So. Thirteenth East.

Mrs Smith died Tuesday in a Salt Lake City rest home of cerebeal hemorhage.

She was born on May 24, 1872 at Copenhagen, Denmark. Daughter of Anders Peter Miller and Anna Sophie Olsen Miller. She came to the United States in 1922 a convert to the Church.

She was married to Joseph Michael Smith on Sept. 20, 1922. He died Feburary 20, 1948 (Correction from Newspaper which says he died in 1947).

Survivors are two daughters M. Sigrid Damhave and Mrs Hedvig Larsen, Copenhagen; a granddaughter Mrs Helen Sund, Draper. Six brothers and sisters; Julius Miller, Laguana Beach, CA.; Mrs Margaret Holberg, Santa Anna; Herbert N. Miller, Salt Lake City, Olaf Miller, Tooele; Mrs Kitty Gardell, Hollister, CA; and Mrs Johanna Anderson, Twin Falls, Id; and three grandchildren in Denmark. She is survived by 12 step-sons and step-daughters; Mrs Esther Jacobsen, Mrs Bertha Powell, and Elmer M. Smith, Sandy; George B. Smith, Salt Lake City; Homer Smith, Sacramento, CA; Fera L. Smith, Murray; Archie Smith, Mrs Alice Vawdrey, Mrs Anne Garfield, and A.E. Smith, Draper; Mrs Rose Fairbourn, Crescent; and Mrs Beatrice Dansie, Riverton.

Friends may call at 4760 So. State Street. Thursday until 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. untile time of services, at the residence of Mrs Sund, Draper. Burial will be in Draper City Cemetery.
