Shasi was a Shih Tzu. Her ancestry was champion and grand-champions, but she was the "runt" of the litter. We were able to bring her home with the promise that we wouldn't breed her. My mother drove her up from Louisiana to her new home in Illinois. She was always very tiny for her breed.

She knew quite a few tricks. She would jump from one bucket to the next. She would sit up, dance and play "bang" and then fall over. She could also talk. She said "I'm Hungry" clearly enough to surprise people. Her favorite treat was cooked pumpkin.

You left paw prints on my heart.
