Alfredo F. Cuellar passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 12, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Esperanza Cuellar, his parents Sofio and Estella Cuellar and sister Jane Arguijo. He is survived by his daughter Romelia Cuellar, grandchildren Matthew Cuellar Sanchez and Erica Cuellar Sanchez and great-granddaughter Kailee Skye all of Gilroy. He is also survived by his brother Guadalupe Cuellar, sister Carolina Zepeda both of San Antonio, TX and sister Guadalupe (Mico) Zepeda of Oklahoma. He had many nieces and nephews in the local area as well as in San Antonio, TX.

Alfredo was a long time mechanic at Gilroy Foods. He will be remembered as a good father, devoted grandfather, loving brother and uncle. He was known by some as "Scooby" and was always ready to have a good laugh. Even if he didn't hear you, he would smile. He became a friend to all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held 3pm Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St., Gilroy, CA Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 900 First St., Gilroy, CA.
