Mr. Grice passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012. Michael, beloved son of Shelby Jean Adams Grice and James David Grice was born in Columbia on February 8, 1963. He was a 1981 graduate of Airport High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Michael retired from Solectron as a Senior Industrial Engineer, was a Certified EMT, and worked with Tri-County Hospice as a Nurse Aide. Michael was a very talented and loving person who excelled in every occupation he pursued.
Surviving are his parents; brothers, Kenneth and David Grice; three nieces; three nephews; eight aunts; eight uncles; and numerous cousins, who will miss him greatly. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Earl and Winnie Adams of Saluda; paternal grandparents, Fred and Sally Grice of Olympia; uncle and aunts, Willis and Madeline Grice, Margie Walker, and a cousin, Obie Grice. Michael's life on earth was far too brief for those of us who loved him, but we take great comfort in knowing he is spending eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
