She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Johnnie Kendrick, 1 son, Eddie James Kendrick (who was a member of The Temptations) and 1 grandson, Bob Kendrick. Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her daughter, Patricia Simpson (Herman) and 3 sons Robert Kendrick, Clarence Kendrick (Lois) and Charles Kendrick (Arleita), 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Tinnie Bell Glaze and Pearlie Bell Hammonds and 1 brother, Porter Harris.
