=====================
Abner's wife, Eliza Ann Blaze, filed for a widow's pension.
She states that his death was caused by falling from the train on Madison & Indianapolis Railroad at Scipio in the State of Indiana.

Two of her daughters (Martha Ann Richards and Matilda Ada Murphy) also filed for pension as minor's of Abner Blaze after his mother remarried Joseph Dihammer.

Eliza's pension application states Abner was buried at the cemetery of Bethel church. She was living in Hanover Twp., Jefferson Co., IN. I have documented that cemetery and no marker could be located for Abner.
