Elizabeth Alspaugh
Elizabeth (George) Alspaugh, 81, died Friday morning, Feb. 19, 1982, at her home in Polo, MO. She was a native of Hardin, MO, and had lived in Polo since 1921. Mrs. Alspaugh was a graduate of Warrensburg State Teachers College, a member of the Polo Wesley Church, a five year member of the Order of Eastern Star and the AAVW. [Member of Daughters of the American Revolution, DAR, for 18 years.]
Survivors include her husband, Dean Alspaugh, of the home; three sons, Richard Alsapugh, of Pittsfield, IL, George A. Alspaugh, of El Cajon, CA., and Paul C. Alspaugh, of Polo; a sister, Kathryn Newton, of CA, MO; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service was Sunday at the Polo Wesley Church with burial in the Cowgill Cemetery.
