Edward Eugene Osborn, Sr., 76 of Del City, OK passed away August 15, 2012. He was born September 19, 1935. Edward was a member of Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church, he was very active in the Church as a Deacon. He would drive the bus for the church to multiple events; he loved to drive the bus for the deaf kids. Edward worked with the Del City Housing Authority. Edward enjoyed playing softball; he liked coaching his kids and grandchildren in t-bal. Edward also enjoyed camping. He was very active with his children. Most of all Edward loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Edward was a great husband, father, & friend & will be greatly missed by all. Wife of 56 years, Mary of the home; 2 sons, Edward Eugene Osborn, Jr. and wife Tammy Wright, Thomas Edwin Osborn; 1 daughter, Gerri Ann Osborn and husband Arthur Ford; grandchildren, Elizabeth Prince and husband Josh, Michael Osborn, Jennifer Wood and husband Cody, Patrick Ryan Osborn and wife Angie ,Jeffrey Eugene Osborn, Brian Keith Norman and wife Brittany Dearborn; great-grandchildren, Britney Dobbs, McKinley Prince, Oliver Elliott Norman, Caleb Wood, & Kimley Prince; sister, Syble Reid; 2 brothers, Ernie and Larry Osborn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Edna Osborn; brother-in-law, Ronnie Reed. Services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church, 2600 S. Sunnylane, Del City, OK. Interment to follow at Kolb Cemetery, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
