Mrs. Lola Mae Whitlow, 99, of Dadeville died Friday, August 10, 2012 at Dadeville Health Care, Dadeville. Funeral services will be held at Ozias Baptist Church, Camp Hill on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.(CST) with Rev. O. C. Stiggers officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service.

Mrs. Whitlow was born on November 2, 1912 to the late Henry and Willie Dixson in Chambers County, Alabama. She was the eldest of seven children. Mrs. Whitlow was a member of Ozias Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a member of the Deacons Wives and Treasurer of the Missionary Society. She was also an Associate Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Ozias Chapter 227. Mrs. Whitlow was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Tommie Whitlow, Sr.

Mrs. Whitlow is survived by two daughters, Virginia (Charles) White, Dadeville; Alzenia (Robert) Rice, Medina, OH; three sons, Willie George Whitlow and Tommie (Doris) Whitlow, Cleveland, OH and Jonathan (Sherry) Whitlow, Bedford Heights, OH; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
