Rev. M. T. Miller was married to Flora Roberts Miller. He pastored and began many churches in Boone County. He was the father of Orin, Mallie, Haddon, Frank, Johnny, Mae, Opal, Norman and Ruby. He was State Senator in WV in 1928, Boone County Supt. of Schools, Postmaster at Turtle Creek, Teacher and he traveled to Philadelphia and purchased the bell that now hangs in the Boone County Courthouse. While in the State Senate he was instrumental in starting the WV State Police
