Thomas was the first husband of Constance. He died of complications due war injuries
According to the attached obituary his grandfather from Larksville could have been
115230114 George Babchalk Sr. 1860-1954 who is buried in Larksville
That would possibly make 51813629 George Jr 1911-1952 Thomas's father.
According to the Obit it is assumed that Thomas's father is already deceased.
This doesn't make sense George Jr. would only have been 15 in 1926.
According to Thomas's marriage records his parents George and Mary where already deceased when he was married in 1948. This causes further confusion since George Jr died in 1952
So even though George Sr is a logical grandfather it does make sense that the George Jr memorial attached to him doesn't seem to be able to be Thomas's father

It could also be the Thomas chose listing his father deceased in 1948 on his marriage record since his mother Mary(according to Marriage license) was deceased. In 1947 George Jr Married Dorothy (much younger than he).
And it could be that George Jr really did father Thomas when he was 15/16. Maybe out of wedlock and thus the reason for George Jr. not mentioned but George Sr was in his Obit ??

Since we don't know for sure we won't link Thomas to George Jr.
