OBIT: Died Aug. 9, 1924, aged 77. Husband of Mrs. Nellie H. Bastian, 1726 E. 2nd St.; brother of Mrs. Belle Worlin and Mrs. Francis Konkle of Versailles, Mo.; Mrs. Clara McCloud of Kingsville, Mo., and Z.T. Bastian of Kansas City, Mo. Interment at Sunnyside Mausoleum.

Corp. Thomas H. Bastian, enlisted at Williamsport, Northampton County Pennsylvania at the stated age of 18 on October 11, 1861 as a substitute for 1 year in Company C, 97th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He reenlisted for 3 years and was appointed corporal on April 1, 1865. He was discharged by general order on June 23, 1865.
