Henry Tadych, 80, o f 1213 Water St., a barber for more than 50 years at Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Ed. L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Tadych was born Oct. 30, 1878, in the Town of Two Creeks, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Tadych. On Feb. 26, 1904, he married Mary Krantz at Manitowoc. The couple lived 10 years at Chicago, returning to Manitowoc where he opened a barber shop on North Eighth Street, retiring 2-1/2 years ago.
He was a member of Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Tadych died __ years ago and…(2 lines superimposed, not readable)…had resided with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clement Ahearn, at Two Rivers.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Ahearn is another daughter, Mrs. Eugene Fitzgerald, of Manitowoc. A grandchild and three great grandchildren also survive.
