Gina Cyphers Anderson, 24, Salina, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, at her home. She was born Gina Cyphers on June 22, 1971, in Concordia. She lived in Concordia until moving to Salina about four years ago. She created crafts for the "Just Us" Home Crafts in Concordia and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia.
Survivors include her husband, James Anderson of the home; a son, James Thomas of the home; her parents, Jim and Anita Cyphers of Concordia; a sister, Maria Marcotte of Salina; two brothers, Shawn of Loveland, Colo., and Christopher of Concordia; her paternal grandmother, Catherine Cyphers of Concordia; and maternal grandparents, Meo and Gladys Brichalli of Concordia.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia, the Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia.
Memorials may be made to the James Thomas Anderson Scholarship Fund.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home in Concordia. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel Concordia, 325 W. Sixth, P.O. Box 606, Concordia, 66901. Mrs. Anderson's death is being investigated by the Salina police as a homicide.

Unsolved Murder Victim.

Gina was born in Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Anita Jeannette (Brichali) and James Eugene Cyphers. She created crafts for the "Just Us" Home Crafts in Concordia, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She married James Anderson, and they made their home in Salina.
She passed away in her home, and is survived by her husband, James; their son, James Thomas; her parents, Jim and Anita Cyphers; a sister, Maria Marcotte; two brothers, Shawn and Christopher Cyphers; her paternal grandmother, Catherine Cyphers; maternal grandparents, Meo and Gladys Brichalli; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia, with the Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Mrs. Anderson's death is being investigated by the Salina police as a homicide.
A devoted mother, she was brutally murdered, and there is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer.
