Surviving: wife, Rosemary Harless Beamon; stepsons, Samuel Fisher of Roanoke, Va., Timothy Fisher of Dublin, Va.; stepdaughter, Judy Chambers of Roanoke; sisters, Gladys Pritchett of Rhodell, Marie and Evelyn Beamon and Janie Krantz, all of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; brothers, William Beamon of Beckley and Darrell Beamon Sr. of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; six stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, with the Rev. Gary Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, Va. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
