Born in Fall River, he was a member of St. Louis De France Church. He was an avid Bowler and Golfer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II where he received the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal. Before retiring in 1987, he was Owner of Nancy Dress for over 30 years.
