They lived in Christiana, New Castle, Delaware in 1880 but had moved to Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware by 1896. In 1900 they were living on 809 Conrad Street and had had 4 children but only three were still living. Their children were Elizabeth Keen, Joshua Keen, Mary Emma Keen, and Joseph Henry Keen.
After her husband's death in 1901, Mary lived with her daughter's, Mary, family from at least 1910 till she died of chronic nephritis on September 6, 1921. Nephritis is an inflammation of the kidney and is also known as Bright's Disease. She was buried in the Mount Salem Cemetery, at 1709 Mt. Salem Lane, in Wilmington.
