OCKLAWAHA -- Robert L. Strickland, 57, Ocklawaha, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Marion County. He was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jesse Strickland.
Survivors include his companion, Darlene Nix, Ocklawaha; daughter, Carla Strickland, Ocala; son, Allen Strickland, Ocala; sisters, Irene Charter, Silver Springs; and Pauline Mobley and Lea Caldwell, both of Lauderdale, Miss.; brother, Willis D. Strickland, Columbus, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
