JOHN BERGE

John Berge, 72, died at his home in the town of Liberty this morning.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Monday from the home and at 2 o'clock from Our Savior's Lutheran church at Valders, the Rev. Martin Trygstad officiating.

Mr. Berge, who farmed all his life, was born in the town of Liberty May 30, 1871, and was married to Miss Caroline Evenson of the town of Liberty in 1896.

Survivors include six children, Mrs. Irene McGovern of Lake Forest, Ill, Mrs. Stella Gansberg and Mrs. Ingrid Dewane of Highland Park, Ill., Miss Clara Berge at home, Mark Berge at home, and Kendall, of Quarry.

The body will be taken to the home from the Berge funeral parlors at Valders at noon Sunday, where it will lie in state until time of services.
