Allen was the son of Thomas J. Fenlon and Margaret (Dorsey) Fenlon. He married Esther O. Thompson. He was a farmer and died from pneumonia.

Allen J. Fenlon Sr., 83, of Valders, died Friday morning, February 13, at Holy Family Skilled Nursing Facility.
Funeral services will be 10:45 a.m. Monday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, and 11:15 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Lester Groeschl will officiate and burial will be in Our Savior Cemetery, Valders… Mr. Fenlon was born Dec. 24, 1897, at Maple Grove, son of the late Thomas J. and Margaret Dorsey Fenlon. He attended St. Patrick School, Maple Grove, and married Esther Thompson April 17, 1926, at Waukegan, Ill. He had been employed with Kohler Company for 10 years and then farmed in the Valders area until 1963. From that time until his illness, he was employed at Fenlon’s Bowl in Valders. He was a member of St. Gregory Parish and Valders Senior Citizens _____.
Survivors include his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Allen Jr., and Rosie Fenlon of Valders, a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Ruth) Kubik of Black River Falls; a grandson, John Fenlon and a granddaughter, Sharon Luloff; two great grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ralph Fenlon of Green Bay, Mrs. Norbert Fenlon of Reedsville, Mrs. Lester Vandre and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson of Sheboygan and Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Thompson of Dorchester and nieces and nephews. A grandson, Thomas Fenlon, preceded him in death in 1978. Four brothers also preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a parish prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
