CHARLES CITY — Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Tynan, 74, who died Saturday at the St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Waverly following a lingering illness, will be 9 a. m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church here; burial in Calvary cemetery; Mrs. Tynan had been a resident of 507 S. Johnson St.. since May 1962; prior to that she had made her home with her daughter in LaCanada, Calif., for 20 - years; survivors include one son, Bernard Tynan, Charles City; one daughter, Mrs. Garland Fitzpatrick, LaCanada, Calif.; one brother, Albert Hobert, Rockford; and three sisters: Mrs. Clara Bennett, Mrs. Guy Bean, and Mrs. William Buchan, all of Charles City.

Her son, Bernard J. Tynan, is buried next to her.


Her husband (divorced), John Patrick Tynan, Jr., and his parents (John and Margaret Tynan) and his maternal grandparents (Pat and Julia Butler) are also buried in another section of Calvary Cemetery.
