Clifford Baker Dies At Home in Jordan

Clifford Baker, age 59, died at his home in Jordan township Monday as the result of a heart ailment.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Chatfield with the Rev. Frank Williams of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Chatfield Cemetery. Members of the Wykoff American Legion Post acted as pallbearers.

Mr. Baker was born January 13, 1893 at Madison, South Dakota. He was not married. A veteran of World War I, he was engaged in farming at the time of this death.

Surviving are one brother, Robert of Wykoff, two sisters, Mrs. George Anderson of New York; Mrs. Raymond Dunn of Chatfield; and one half brother, Walter Baker of Stewartville.
