Charles Frederick Sloan was born in Lonaconing, Allegany County, Maryland to the late Elizabeth Donald Sloan and Samuel Sloan on April 16, 1921.
He married Marcella Allen from Shaft, Allegany County, Maryland. They resided on Rockville Street, Lonaconing, Maryland. They had the following children: Billy, Donna, Charles Frederick 11, Eleanor Ann, Danny, Jennie and Jeff.
Chung worked in Cumberland for years at the Brewery.
He was a lifetime resident of Lonaconing.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and the following children:
Billy 1940-1943; Donna 1942-1958; and Danny Sloan.
Chung and Marcella, Billy, Donna, and Eleanor Ann are buried at Old Coney Cemetery, Lonaconing.
Fred and his wife Kathy are buried at Laurel Hill, Moscow, Maryland. Danny was buried on his familt home property, Water Station Run, Lonaconing.
