Trudy Elizabeth Jones Dobson Henriksen passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Sydney H. Dobson, and by previous marriage, the late Svend Henriksen. Loving mother of Sydney A., Sydney J. (Cheryl), Dennis M. (Cindy) and Glenn E. (Sherron). Daughter of the late Joseph and Aurelia Jones. Grandmother of Sydney, Celeste (Jerry), Dennis (Chantal), Matthew (Maegan), Kelly, Jamie (Alex), Jeremy (Stephanie), Chelsey, Glenn (Hattie), James, Daniel and Christopher. Great grandmother of Caitlin, Jayden, Sarah, Brianna, Dakota, Dennis, Evan, Lucas, Gary, Kallie, Kristian, Alex, Olivia, Adelaide, Collin and James Jr.
Trudy was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a past Worthy Grand Matron of the Eastern Star. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, August 23rd from 6:00PM – 9:00PM and again on Friday morning from 9:00AM – 11:00AM.
A graveside service will follow beginning at 11:00AM in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
