Mrs. Dortha Orene Alderdice, age 97, a resident of Lynnville, KY., passed away at 3:15 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Lynnville Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter; Lamone and husband Larry Mayfield, Owensboro, KY, two grandchildren; Kevin and wife Lana Alderdice, Draffenville, KY., Ginger Alderdice Mayfield and husband Marty Mayfield, Owensboro, KY, two great grandchildren; Sydnee and Seth Mayfield, Owensboro. She was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Cecil Alderdice, one son; Michael Alderdice, her parents: Richard and Rhoda Canter Caldwell, one sister and five brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Charles Blair Officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynnville Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Todd Stokes, Layne Stokes, Jon Stokes, Shannon Jackson, Andrew Caldwell and Dennis Zimmer. Honorary pallbearers will be; Kenny Foy, Kenny Donoho and Kim Gray.
