Mrs. Anna T. Kuge Dead
Mrs. Anna Teresa Kuge died Monday night at the Kuge farm home one mile north of Maydale. Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Mary's church at Maydale. Father Donald Birkenherer will be in charge. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The Rosary will be said at the Kuge home at 9 o'clock Wednesday night.
Mrs. Kuge was born in Breile Olau, Germany, December 29, 1861, and came to Kansas in 1891, living in the Maydale community. She was married to Joseph Kuge November 14, 1893, at Eagle Creek. He died October 1, 1943, at Maydale. She was a member of the Catholic church and the St. Ann's alter society.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herman J. Bechtel, of Hartford, and Miss Mary Kuge, of the home, and two sons, Karl and Albert, of the home.
