Mickey enjoyed music, especially youth wind bands, and played clarinet until his recent illness. He passionately supported Eastern High School Bands throughout the 1970's and the 1980's. More recently, he volunteered his time assisting with music education at Fairview Elementary School. He spent many fall Saturdays at Spartan Stadium, and told many a joke on the golf course and at the bowling alley. He loved spending time with his grandchildren in both Florida and Michigan. Grandpa Dorin was always happy to take you to school, put-on the worm and take-off the fish, or just watch you swim.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Juanita Dorin; wife, Mary Jo Dorin; 2 brothers, Kenny Dorin and Wesley Dorin; and son, Jeffrey Dorin.
