Mary came to Michigan with her parents in 1855. The family settle in Flowerfield township and Mary would reside there most of her life.

She married Calvin Bingaman on Sept. 1, 1870. They had ten children, nine of whom where still living at the time of her death. They are Frank Null of Chicago, William of Marcellus, Newton and Irving of Flowerfield township, Mrs. Obie Taylor of Sturgis, Arthur of Fabius, Mrs. E. E. Sampsell of Flowerfield township, Lones of Burr Oak and Mrs. K. Vanover of East Chicago.

In about 1911 she moved to Three Rivers. Mary died at her home on 626 Main at 6:30 in the morning from heart trouble.
