Michael Devoe was the son of Charles Devoe & Mary Josephine Howlett. He was born March 1, 1870 (St. Joseph Church records, L'Bras d'Or
Michael was on the ship the River Queen with Peter Devoe when it went down in a gale. Michael lived to a ripe old age - in 1954 according to Col. John Devoe.
Micheal Devoe and Kate Pero never married.
