Mr. Bihm, a resident of Opelousas, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2002, in Doctors' Hospital in Opelousas. He was a retired painting contractor in Opelousas. Mr. Bihm was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church where he was an Usher, and the Knights of Columbus Council #3409. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the engineering division in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Bihm was preceded in death by his wife, Bella Lafleur Bihm, January 1999; his parents, Ernest and Marie Bihm; and brothers, Leo, Curries, Gussie, Ferdie, J.B. and Louvie Bihm.
Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on the Old Sunset Road in Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
