OBITUARTY. -- Samuel Franklin Piatt, son of the late Samuel and Frances Piatt, was born in Gladden, Missouri on April 29 1893 and departed this life at Sullivan, Missouri on February 11,1965, having attained the ae of 71 years, nine months and eleven days.
He was baptized in early manhood and remained a faithful and devoted Christian until the Lord called him to His eternal Home.
Frank was united in marriage to the late Jane Elizabeth Counts and five children came to bless this union. He is survived by three daughers, Mrs. Hazel Counts and Mrs. June Stagner both of Sullivan, Missouri and Mrs. Cinda Enloe of Round Spring,, Missouri and Willie Piatt of Round Spring, Missouri; 30 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A kind and loving father, grandfather and uncle, he will be sadly missed by his loved oneas and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 1965 from the Shannondale Comunity House near Round Spring, Missouri, with Rev. Vincent Bucher officiating. Interment was in the Piatt Cemetery. ........."
