Harry was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Pacific Theater. Retired from Delco Electronics in 1985 Had also been employed by Midwest Plating and Continental Steel.
Harry had been a member of the VFW Post 1152 and Moose Lodge. Enjoyed golfing, bowling and boxing. Harry boxed in the Army and in the Golden Gloves. Was a Silver Gloves champion.
Survivors two sons, Robert G. Abresch and wife, Susie, William "Bill" J. Abresch and wife, Susie; two daughters, Sheryl A. Musgrave and husband, Gary, Esther L. Abresch-Cleaver and husband, Ernie, six grandchildren, Kathleen Farinas and husband, Michael, Amanda Sholtz husband, Craig, Merine Chandler husband, Dwight, William H. Pollard Jr., Brianna L. York husband, David, and Thomas J. Abresch; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, William Abresch; two sisters, Betty Shrock, and Audrey Hunt and husband, Ray; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John Milton Abresch; two brothers, Charles Abresch and Garland Abresch.
