A native of Gaffney, he was the widower of Bessie Sanders Earley and son of the late A.E. Earley and the late Fannie McCurry Earley. He was a retired insurance salesman, an Army veteran of World War II, a Shriner and member of Granard Masonic Lodge No. 186 AFM and El Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are a brother, Wayne Earley of West Plains, Mo.; two sisters, Mildred LeCroy and Della Blanton, both of Gaffney; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Earley was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Blaine and Everett Earley, and a sister, Pauline Mullinax.
Burial, with military honors, was in Abingdon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
