Robert Dale Allen passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at his Emerald Pointe residence in Cedar City, Utah. He was born March 24, 1922 in rural South Dakota. "Bob" enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1940 and served honorably in the Pacific during the second World War and in the Korean War. He retired as a Lieutenant Commander with 28 years of service to his country before attending the University of Arizona and earning a Bachelor's of Arts in Business.
He is survived by his daughter and two sons, two granddaughters and three great granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Emerald Pointe, 995 South Regency Road, Cedar City, Utah.
