B. W. Richardson Dies in Henrietta

HENRIETTA, Tex. Aug. 31 (Special) — Funeral services for Benjamin Wiley Richardson, 70, a resident of Henrietta, Tex. for 33 years, will be held at 3 p. m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Henrietta with Rev Weldon Wright, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Henrietta Hope Cemetery under direction of Hawkins Funeral Home.

A resident of Clay County for 44 years, Richardson died after a sudden heart attack in a Henrietta cafe Tuesday afternoon. He had been employed by the city of Henrietta for three years before retiring in February.

Mr. and Mrs. Richardson had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 2.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Leona York, Henrietta, Mrs. Minnie Pillow, Bunker Hill, Ind., Mrs. Lucille Hawkins, Arlington, Calif., and Mrs. Ila Mac Scram, Henrietta; four sons, Andrew and Cletus Richardson of Henrietta, Arvell Richardson, Vernon, Tex., and Herman Richardson, Fulton, Calif.; two brothers, Arthel of Denton and Willie of Lepan, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Sublett, Los Angeles, Mrs. Mae Prince, Henrietta, and Mrs. Lula Kelly, Gurmoda., Tex.; and seven grandchildren.
