BREWSTER - Henry F. "Jim" Daley
90, died Monday at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Brewster.

Born in Boston, he graduated from Brookline High School and Wentworth Institute. He came to Brewster in 1940 to open the Cushman Bakery routes in Brewster and Orleans. After leaving Cushman's, he was a park ranger at Nickerson State Park, retiring in 1977. He also owned and operated White Gates Guest Cottages in Brewster and for several years owned and operated Stoney Acres Farm in Brewster. He loved gardens and sharing his knowledge and fruits.

Mr. Daley was a member of Orleans Stamp and Coin Club, one of the first presidents of Brewster Board of Trade, past president of the PTA and a call firefighter in Brewster. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and trains.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Dorothea (Rawse) Daley of Brewster; a son, a daughter, six grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. He was the father of Walter "Skip" Daley, who died in 1967.

A memorial service is at 11 a.m. June 7 in Brewster Baptist Church, Main Street. Burial is private.
