Fannie Maxine Mabe Mcbride, 76, of 4724 Daleville St., Roanoke, Va., formerly of Yards, Va., died Wednesday, July 12, 1989 in a Roanoke hospital.
Born April 4, 1913 in Eggleston, Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Zelma Roberts Mabe.
She was retired from the Great-Scott Supermarket in Detroit, Mi.
She was preceded in death by her huaband, Robert Cecil McBride; and four brothers, Buck Mabe, John Mabe, Claude Mabe and Kerwood Mabe.
Survivors; sons, Gordon G. Potter of Roanoke, Va., Billy Z. Potter of Sacramento, Ca.; daughter, Brenda S. Downs of Roanoke, Va.; five grandchildren and tow great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Rev. Rick Mathena officiating and burial in Grandview Memory Garden on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road.
