Michael Perry Carpenter, 64, died: October 31, 2008. A 38 year resident of Clawson, Formerly of Royal Oak. He was born June 21, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Carol (Stites) whom he married Sept. 7 1963 in Berkley, MI.

Children: Steven M. (Michelle), James D. (Kerri), Jennifer (Jeffrey) Boeberitz

Grandchildren: Carlos, Victor and Carmen Carpenter, Gunnar and Emily Carpenter, Sydney, Olivia, and Madelyn Boeberitz

Siblings: Sister Joyce (William) Lipke

Preceded in death by: Parents Robert and Pauline Carpenter, and brother Robert

Background: Veteran of the US Air Force.

Michael coached many sport teams in the City of Clawson and was the former president of the Clawson Mavericks. He was a cub master for Pack #1095 at Schalm School and enjoyed bowling, camping, boating, fishing and wood-working.

He worked as a printer for St. John Hospitals at the headquarters.

Burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, MI.
