A trip to the Fair and San Diego as well as to Mexico, was the honeymoon planned by Mr. and Mrs. William E. Buerkle Jr., who were married September 15 in St. Leo's Catholic Church. The bride was Miss Marie L. Ash of Shatter Avenue. Officiating was Rev. Father Lacy and the bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Mr. J. E Myers. The bride wore a gown of brown and rust shades with a military neckline and large dolman sleeves. She wore brown accessories and corsage. Mr. John Geratto served as best man while the bride was attended by her sister. Miss Lois M. Ash in a dressy street ensemble in blue. Mrs Margaret B. Ash, mother of he bride wore a green velvet dinner gown and accessories to match while the bridegroom mother Wrs. William Buerkle Sr., was in black satin. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. M. B. Ash of Shatter Avenue, and is a graduate of Technical High School. Mr. Buerkle Jr. was graduated from Technical High School. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Buerkle Sr. of Shattuck Avenue. A buffet supper and reception was held after the ceremony at the church. The bridal couple will make their home here.
