Mary Jane Andrus
Mary Jane Andrus, wife of Robert P. Andrus, died in an Olympia area nursing home Saturday morning.
Mrs. Andrus was born in Goos Berry, Utah, on September 10, 1888. the daughter of John W. and Mary Russell.
She came to Olympia 20 years ago and 3 years later was married to Robert P. Andrus. The family home is on Route Twelve (Box 105).
Ms. Andrus was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are her husband, Robert P. Andrus, Olympia; a son, Earl Thornton, Portland; three daughters: Mrs. Leland (Ruby) Collins, Portland; Mrs. Denzel (Irene) Gifford, Olympia; and Mrs. Rural; (Jennie) Gifford, Boise, Idaho; three brothers: Alfred, Ed, and Marion, all in Idaho; two sister; Mrs. Violet Lemon, Mackay, Idaho and Mrs. Effie White, Shelley, Idaho; and 26 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints later in the week.
Burial will take place in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mills and Mills is in charge of arrangements here.
