ACCIDENT INJURIES FATAL TO WOMAN

Edith Minnie Hacking, 57, 3024 N.E. Everett street, became Multnomah County's second traffic fatality of 1948 Monday when she died at Portland Sanitarium from injuries received in an accident February 5.

The accident occurred at S.E. 96th avenue and Stark street when the car in which she was riding collided with a fuel truck driven by Walter M. Swirtz, 29, 132 S.W. 11th avenue. Her car turned over and was hit by an automobile driven by Maxine Smith, 25, 232 N.E. Verdanta street.
