Alan Brent Crandall, 58, passed away August 23, 2012, surrounded by his loved ones. Alan was born March 21, 1954, to Nathan and Margene Crandall. He was the oldest of four children.

He grew up in Springville and graduated from Springville High. He would later to go on and graduate from Bell and Howell in electronics. He was employed at Pacific States in Provo for many years. Alan married Karri Mackley on Feb. 13, 2000. They lived in Spanish Fork.

Alan had a great love for his family. He had a very quiet way about him but you knew that he loved and appreciated everything you did for him.

He is survived by his wife, Karri Mackley-Crandall; brother, Danny (Laurie) Crandall; sister, Natalie (John) Kramer; brother-in-laws: Kevin (Charlotte) Mackley, Richard (Chanell) Mackley and Michael Mackley; sister-in-law, Cindy (Tracy) Anderson; his mother-in-law Jeanne Mackley and twenty nieces and nephews. Alan is preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister, Cheri Crandall Rosenlof. He will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him, especially, his little friend, Pumpkin.

Special thank you to the loving care he received while in ICU in Mountain View Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 5 to 6:45 p.m. at the mortuary, prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
