She was employed as a cafeteria cook, a worker for the Van Buren school system, worked as a cook for Daigle's Restaurant in St. Leonard, New Brunswick and in the laundry department at Van Buren Community Hospital for several years.
Martha is survived by five sons, Norman Bouchard and his wife, Diann, of Hampden; Robert Bouchard and his wife, Michelle; Gary Bouchard and his wife, Susan; Paul Bouchard and his companion, Kim Beaulieu, all of Van Buren, ME; Richard Bouchard of Augusta, ME; one daughter, Patsy Ouellette and her husband, Donald, of Augusta, ME; four sisters, Thelma Banville of Bristol, CT; Cecile Cyr of Iroquois, New Brunswick; Leanne Lafrancois of St. Basile, New Brunswick; and Simone Beaulieu of Edmundston, New Brunswick; 11 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rosaire Bouchard May 18, 2006.
