OBITUARY
A Mass for Mrs. Catherine E. Makoski, 96, a lifelong resident of Carteret, will be offered at 9 a.m. tomorrow in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Carteret, following the funeral from the Rumpf Funeral Home, 21 Locust St., Carteret.
Mrs. Makoski, who died Saturday in Rahway Hospital, was a machine operator for Carteret Shirts for many years before retiring in 1963.
She was a member of the English Altar Rosary Society and the First Catholic Slovak Union, both of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Surviving are a son, William J.; a brother, John E. D'Zurilla; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
