Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lucile Cahoon Smith, daughter of Cecil and Evva Cahoon, was born July 24, 1927, in Salt Lake City. She went to join her late beloved husband, Duwane LeGrand Smith in heaven Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006. They were sealed in the St. George Temple, and together they had three daughters and three sons. Lucile is survived by her children, Dennis Smith, Sheila Pishnak, Gordon Smith, Kenneth Smith, Valerie Marrero and Alicia Elm; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Ula Day; and a brother, Elden Cahoon. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Our thanks to all the nursing staff and health care workers at Kolob for their kind and gentle loving care.
