William O. Frisch, 76, of 1718 Goff Ave., died tuesday morning at Lutheran Hospital.
Mr. Frisch was born April 21, 1895, at Oslo, Norway. He came to this counrty in 1914 and served with the army in France during World War I.
He returned to Norway in 1919 and worked for the Kellogg Company there until 1950, when he moved with his family to Eau Claire.
He was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church; a charter member and past master of George B. Wheeler Lodge No. 351. F.A.M.; and a member of Eau Claire Chapter No.36 R.A.M.; Chippewa Council No. 25 R.S.M; Eau Claire Commandry No 8 K.T.; Barracks No 2649, Veterns of World War I; and Nordmanns Forbundet.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Hackon (Haakon) Nilsen, Eau Claire, Mrs. Bjorg Moller, Denver, Colo; Mrs. Fred Bureschert ( Bruechert) Manitowoc; two brothers, John, British Columbia, Finn, Olso, Norway; and two sisters, Miss Louise Frisch, Oslo, and Miss Nancy Frisch, Horten, Norway.
Funeral services will be at 11a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Zane Torgrude officiation. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Stokes and Sons after 4p.m., Thursday and Friday at the church one hour before services.
Masonic rites will be at 8p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel by the George B. Wheeler Lodge.
