PORTAGE — Louise E. Sutfin, age 53, died Thursday, February 24, 1983, at the University Hospital in Madison. She was a lifelong Portage resident. Born on May 10, 1929, the daughter of Daniel and Elsa (Anacker) Golz. She married Sam Sutfin in Portage in 1953. He preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Portage and operated the Wauona Trail Day Care Center. Survivors include a daughter, Terri Sutfin at home; three sons, Larry Busser of Merrimac, John Sutfin of Markesan, and Tim Sutfin at home; a brother, Ray Anacker of Portage; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 1983, at 9:30 a.m. at the PORT-AXTELL FUNERAL HOME. The Reverend George Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
