Mr. John Thomas Brown of Agassiz, B.C., formerly of Tofield, passed away suddenly July 18 at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his longing wife, Augusta of Agassiz; a daughter, Mrs. Max (Laura Ella) Dalton of California; a son, Merlin of Agassiz; and six grandchildren; also his mother, Mrs. E. A. Brown of Holden; and mother-in-law, Mrs. Kate Gratz at home at Agassiz; two brothers, J.H. Brown and S. Brown of Tofield; three sisters, Mrs. L. McGinitie and Mrs. M. Lawson of Tofield and Miss Ethel Brown of Holden. Funeral services will be held at the Agassiz United Church on Friday, July 22 at 2 p.m.
