On May 3, 1984 at General Hospital in Edmonton, Maurice Sterling Van Buskirk of R.R. 4, Tofield passed away at 64 years. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife, Lillian; one daughter, Mrs. Allan (Judy) Franklin of Fort Saskatchewan; three sons, Colin and daughter-in-law, Leona, Doyle and Jack, all of Edmonton; five grandchildren, Shana and Alaina Franklin, Chad, Shane and Jodie Van Buskirk; three brothers, Merril of Edmonton, Donald of Hixon, B.C., Elmer of Everett, Washington, Bertha Foyd and Dorothy Carlisle, both of Tofield. Funeral service on Tuesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Tofield United Church with Reverend Val Roos officiating. Interment at Tofield Cemetery.
